What is the STAR Program?
The San Marcos Experience "STAR" Program is a incentive-based academic reward program. Students are encouraged to excel academically and then rewarded based on specific accomplishments. Students earn "STAR tickets" that can be redeemed to win a variety of prizes.

How It Works
Students earn "STAR" tickets by:

• Attending a professor's office hours
• Using the Writing or Math Lab
• Earning an A on a homework assignment
• Getting an A on a paper
• Earning an A on an exam

Redeem tickets for the opportunity to win the following in Fall semester monthly SME drawings:

• CSUSM T-shirt
• Dinner & Movie Passes
• Ralph's Gift Card
• Floor Ice Cream Social
• $100 Gift Certificate to the Bookstore
