Allen & O'Hara's Student Housing Management Division has specialized in student housing for more than 43 years, developing and managing full-service residence halls and student apartments nationwide. Allen & O'Hara has developed and managed over 70,000 beds at 77 different colleges and universities across the country. For almost five decades the company has housed and provided residence life services to over 5250,000 students � 225,000 first-year students and 300,000 upper class and graduate students.

Allen & O'Hara's record is unparalleled in the management of college-level student residences. A&O was the national pioneer of professionally-operated, privately-owned student housing. Today, we are one of the country's leaders in providing management and residence life services in private student housing. The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has certified all of Allen & O'Hara's property management executives as Certified Property Managers (CPMs). Many members of the company's property management leadership team average 25 years or more in managing student housing. A&O is a member of the Association of College and University Housing Officers � International, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, American College Personnel Association, and the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
