William W. Harris, MAI Educational Background Professional Background He has consulted in real estate on a national scale, providing service and expertise to numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Motorola, Federal Express, U.S. Gypsum, and others. He has handled the development and acquisitions of a wide variety of student housing projects and hotels, including market feasibility, planning and design, zoning, construction, and financing. William attended Duke University, majoring in Civil Engineering and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College at Memphis in 1968. He holds the MAI designation, the highest award granted by the Appraisal Institute, and has served as president of the Memphis Chapter of that organization. He was president-elect of the Memphis Mortgage Bankers Association before leaving the mortgage loan profession. He is a member of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society. |
