Professional Background
Since joining the company in 1977, Olan has served in various property management positions with both the commercial properties group and the residential group of the Management Services department. He was property manager, then regional director, for a portfolio of office, retail, and apartment properties containing over one million square feet of space. He was promoted to the Real Estate Department in 1985.

In his current role, Olan manages the development of projects such as hotels and other commercial properties. His duties include market analysis, site selection, and project financing. He also monitors existing mortgages and financing on the company�s real estate investments.

Olan holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management. He is a licensed Tennessee Real Estate Broker, and is a past president of the Building Owners and Managers Association.
