Professional Background
Since joining the company in 1969, Paul has served as assistant general manager of Granville Towers (University of North Carolina), general manager of The Towers (University of Wisconsin) and Summit Hall (West Virginia University), and regional director and branch manager of the student housing/foodservice group. In 1977, he was promoted to vice president of the student housing/group of the Management Services department and to senior vice president of Management Services in 1979. In 1994, he was named senior vice president of Management Contract Development. In 1997, Paul was named Executive Vice President of Development, and, in January 1998, he became President and CEO.

Paul serves on the Cornell Alumni Finance and Administration subcommittee, and is a member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen. He holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation conferred by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), as well as the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation conferred by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association. Paul is also a member of the Memphis Board of Realtors and the Association of College and University Housing Officers � International (ACHUO-I) Research and Education Foundation.
