Greek Housing
Allen & O'Hara is committed to providing universities and national Greek letter organizations with high quality, state-of-the-art, and safe fraternity and sorority housing. We work with housing and Greek life professional, as well as local house corporations and national headquarter officials when designing our Greek housing facilities.
Allen & O'Hara developed and manages University of Louisville's Community Park, which was completed in August 2006, and contains 357 beds as well as five Greek Chapter Houses. We were also involved in the design and development of the Stratford Heights group housing project at the University of Cincinnati. Completed in 2005, this community provides individual homes for 15 Greek and special interest groups, plus a central food and recreational facility.
In addition to Greek housing, Allen & O'Hara has experience in designing and managing special interest and theme housing. Based on specific client requirements, A&O assembles a team consisting of architects, contractors and consultants responsible for designing solutions that meet the special interest housing needs of universities and students.
Our management team, both at the home office and in the field, bring to the table experience in managing Greek housing at the university level, as well as creating and implementing special interest housing options for a diverse group of students. Examples of current special interest housing option in place at A&O managed communities include first-year experience and transition programs, academically themed floors and substance free and quiet floors.
