Allen & O'Hara, along with National Development Company of Pittsburgh, has redeveloped the entire on-campus housing stock at California University of Pennsylvania. The project involved the phased demolition of all current housing and the construction of new student residences.
This project accommodates 560 residence hall beds and 140 private bedrooms with dens, a common area with kitchen and access to all buildings is key-card controlled. Parking is available for all residents. This new facility replaces old existing housing surrounding the Student Center directly in the heart of campus.
An Honors Building targeted for elite academic students is also part of the project, incorporating housing with a state-of-the-art media room, research library, space for visiting faculty/lecturers and private study rooms is also part of this project.

Description: Multiple laundry rooms, computer room, study room, recreation room, an office, common area with kitchen & lounge and Honors facilities. This four-story building has a concrete and steel structure, brick exterior and interior corridors.
