Bettie Johnson Hall
On the campus of the University of Louisville
Louisville, KY
These contemporary apartments are designed for upper class students at the University of Louisville. Through a public/private partnership, Allen & O'Hara was able to offer high quality student housing at affordable rates without risk to the University. Twelve months of construction produced an on-time and on-budget project to house 493 students.
Multiple floor plans include: 1-,2-,3-, and 4-bedroom, fully-furnished apartment units with private bedrooms, and full kitchens. Bathrooms are shared by no more than two persons. All bedrooms are wired for cable, phone and the University computer network. The private center courtyard features a swimming pool, BBQ area, and sand volleyball court. The site accommodates parking for approximately 500 cars, has security card access, only one entrance, and a front desk.
Allen & O'Hara manages the facility and provides Residence Life Programming.
